How does the trial period work?

For new members, the first 4 weeks of your subscription are considered a trial period.

  • If you have a weekly share, this means 4 vegetable boxes.

  • If you have a bi-weekly share, this means 2 vegetable boxes, delivered every other week within those 4 weeks.

If you decide to cancel within the trial period, you will only be charged for the boxes you have already received. You can cancel your trial directly via your membership page.

Please note:

  • Cancellation must be made at least 3 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery of your next box.

  • If you cancel less than 3 days in advance, the cancellation will take effect the following week, and the upcoming box will still be charged.

  • During the trial period, you’ll receive two reminder emails letting you know when the trial is ending and how to cancel if you wish to do so.


Can I pause my subscription while I’m on holiday?

You’re always welcome to send a friend, neighbour, or family member to collect your vegetables for you.

If that’s not possible for a specific week, please let us know at least 3 days in advance via your member login page. You then have two options:

  • Shift your box to another week (up to 3 times per season). In that case, you’ll receive a double box in the rescheduled week.

  • Cancel that specific box (without reimbursement).

Please note:

  • Billing continues in all cases, whether you shift or cancel a box.

  • All absence management must be handled personally via your member account.

We also have a WhatsApp group for members, where you can coordinate with others, for example, asking someone to pick up your box while you’re away and returning the favour another time.

What happens after the trial period ends?

Once the 4-week trial period ends, your subscription is automatically converted into a full-season CSA membership:

  • 34 weeks for a weekly share

  • 17 weeks for a bi-weekly share

By continuing after the trial period, you commit to receiving a vegetable box for the remainder of the season. After this point, the subscription can no longer be cancelled.

Can I join again next season?

CSA memberships are not automatically renewed at the end of the season.

Existing members will be contacted early, before the start of the new season. Current members always get priority — first dibs — before we open registrations to new members.
